We just bought one of the flying sharks that's been on TV recently and it's awesome fun, it really is! We saw it on the Johnathon Ross show so being the gadget freaks that we are here at Parts4Laptops we found them at Air Swimmers Flying Shark and bought one. We took it to Clinton Cards where it cost £2 to fill up, and it's currently parked in the office here. Everytime someone comes in they want to see it in action and have a play with it.Brilliant invention, we absolutely love this thing and we've named it Lenny (from Shark Tale).

Technology has always been a great leveller, providing smaller companies with an equal footing on which to perform against counterparts with far greater resources. The iPad is an example of such technology which enables small firms to, in many cases, better the offering of larger competition, particularly in the field of client interaction.
Laptops represented a massive development in the provision of advice to customers, due naturally to their portable nature. Financial advisers are an example of one such profession that benefitted greatly from their development, allowing them to take easily interpretable facts and figures into peoples’ homes. However, some complained that laptops created a physical barrier with their clients. So much so that many would prefer to have a conversation with their clients and take down the relevant details using a pen and paper, only entering the details onto the laptop later on.
The beauty of an iPad is the complete removal of the barrier between client and adviser, enabling it to essentially revolutionise the way client and adviser meetings are conducted. And although laptop parts may be far more readily available, and cheaper, it is thought that the durability of the iPad will make it the more cost effective of the two.
In many businesses, particularly those in the advisory sector, the power of moving graphs and info graphics should not be underestimated. An iPad is the perfect tool for the job, allowing an adviser to present real-time scenarios to the customer with comparable solutions. By using the slider bar, this invaluable tool can benefit the sales process by ensuring the client understand exactly the service they are buying, helping to address any concerns they may have.So to conclude, the humble laptop may be of less relevance for customer interaction but is still a stalwart for in-house work across the country. With the laptop parts on offer here at Parts4Laptops, we can ensure if anything does go wrong with your laptop, your replacement parts will be cheap and reliable. Google and Virgin America have teamed up in a move which will allow travellers to test drive Google’s new laptop, the Chromebook, when they fly with the US airline. The announcement which was made yesterday (June 30), stated that those passengers wishing to do so could pick up one of the new Chromebook laptops at the gate on selected US domestic routes, to tinker with while they fly.WiFi is a necessity for the Chromebook which requires an internet connection to be able to use almost all of its features. This also ensures that customers wishing to trial the laptop will be treated to some free in-flight WiFi while they travel. It has yet to be disclosed whether Virgin America will carry spare laptop parts in case anything should go wrong with the laptops provided. The program, which has rather cannily been dubbed the ‘Test Fly’ by Virgin America, is due to last from July 1 through to September 30 on selected routes between San Francisco Airport’s Terminal 2, Boston Logan Airport, Chicago O’Hare Airport and Dallas-Fort Worth Airport. On departure travellers will be required to swipe their credit cards as security when picking up the laptops, and will then return them once the y reach their destination, completely free of charge.Virgin is not the only airline to trial such a move, earlier this month American Airlines announced a deal with Samsung to offer their brand new Galaxy Tab 10.1 their customers travelling premium class. However, this scheme, involving 6,000 computers, it is not expected to start until later on in the year.Unfortunately not everyone can be so lucky to have a brand new laptop, so if yours is slightly more dated you may require laptop parts. Laptop parts can provide a far cheaper alternative to buying a new computer. So if you require a new keyboard, screen, battery or charger then visit parts4laptops today.
There’s nothing like a bit of Victorian engineering. The legacy of this progressive era can still be witnessed all around our fair isles; just think Brunel. However, one innovation the Victorians cannot claim as their own is the laptop. Mind you, looking at the new Steampunk laptop, you really wouldn’t believe it. You thought buying laptop parts for your HP was a pain; imagine trying to find them for this antique! The arrival of modern technology has seen the gradual disappearance of much of the clunky and complex Victorian machinery. However, Richard Nagy is set to take us back in time with his custom-made Steampunk laptops. The first step in producing one of these antiquated beasts is to strip the laptop parts of an existing laptop, before turning it into something that looks a little more like the world’s first typewriter. The elaborate designs produced integrate clockworks under glass, engraved brass accents, claw feet, keyboards and mice made of copper. All this is topped off by leather wrist pads. All this will make finding spare laptop parts a little on the expensive side to say the least. And to make it all just a little bit more Sherlock Holmes, the machine turns on with an antique clock-winding mechanism by way of a custom-built ratcheting switch made from old clock parts allowing you to view the clock winding key in action below. However, Victorian design does not mean Victorian performance. The laptop is set to feature cutting-edge components capable of running any of today’s software. And the price; well we can safely say there are no shillings or crowns involved. Far from it. You can pre-order your laptop for the discounted price of $5,500. So if you’re a bit of a geek with far more money than sense, visit the Datamancer website.Alternatively, if your feet are more firmly on the ground, rather than buying a brand new laptop for $5,500, just buy laptop parts from Parts 4 Laptops.
